At Accessibility in Motion Ltd., we aim to process and ship orders as efficiently as possible.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is received, unless otherwise stated on the product page or invoice.
Processing times may be longer during peak periods, holidays, supplier delays, or for special-order items.
2. Shipping Methods
Orders are shipped using available courier, postal, freight, or delivery services selected by us or chosen at checkout where available.
Shipping options may vary based on:
- package size and weight
- delivery location
- product type
- hazardous or restricted items
- carrier availability
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout where available. In some cases, especially for oversized, heavy, remote-destination, or freight shipments, additional shipping charges may apply after the order is reviewed.
If a shipping adjustment is required, we will contact the customer before finalizing shipment where practical.
4. Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Delivery dates may vary due to:
- weather
- carrier delays
- remote delivery conditions
- customs processing
- supplier backorders
- holidays
- incorrect address information
- events beyond our reasonable control
5. Oversized, Heavy, and Freight Items
Some products may require freight shipping, pallet shipping, liftgate service, or special handling. Extra charges may apply for:
- oversized packages
- heavy shipments
- residential freight delivery
- remote or rural delivery areas
- re-delivery attempts
- appointment-required delivery
Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location can safely receive the shipment.
6. Order Tracking
Tracking information will be provided when available. Some freight or special shipments may not have standard live tracking.
7. Shipping Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays, losses, extra charges, or returned packages caused by incorrect or incomplete address information.
8. Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Shipments
Once an order has been handed to the carrier, delivery performance is subject to the carrier’s operations.
If a shipment is lost or significantly delayed, contact help@rentwithaim.ca and we will assist in opening a carrier investigation where appropriate.
We are not responsible for stolen packages after confirmed delivery to the address provided by the customer.
9. Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives damaged, contact help@rentwithaim.ca within 3 days of delivery and include:
- your order number
- photos of the item
- photos of the packaging
- photos of the shipping label
Do not discard the packaging until the claim review is complete.
10. Undeliverable or Refused Shipments
If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, refusal, or non-collection, the customer may be responsible for:
- original shipping charges
- return shipping charges
- carrier handling fees
- any applicable restocking fee
11. International Orders
If international shipping is offered, customers are responsible for any duties, customs fees, brokerage fees, taxes, import permits, or other destination-country charges unless stated otherwise.
12. Special Orders and Backorders
Special-order or backordered items may ship on a different timeline than standard stock items. Where possible, customers will be notified of material delays.
13. Separate Shipments
Orders containing multiple items may ship in separate packages depending on product availability, supplier location, or package size.
